Multicolor flow cytometry training course: Precursor B lymphoblastic leukemia - Diagnosis

Making diagnosis, subclassification, and predictive cytogenetic abnormalities are three major goals of B cell leukemia diagnostic panel. CD19 and CD34 are used to identify precursor B cells. CD10, CD20, CD38, Cytoplasmic IgM, and TdT are used to define maturation stage. CD58, CD66c, and NG2 are aberrant expression markers. CD66c together with CD13, CD33, CD15/CD65 are used to predict Ph(+) B cell leukemia. CD9, and CD20 are used to predict t(12;21). NG2 is related to 11q23, and CD123 is related to hyperdipoidy.
