Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) has been recognized for over 100 years . NPC is the most common head and neck cancer in southwestern China and Taiwan. NPC is an Epstein–Barr virus (EBV)–associated cancer that is highly treatable when diagnosed early, with 5-year disease-free survival of approximately 90%. Multiple myeloma(MM) is an incurable malignancy of mature B-lymphoid cells.
