成立背景

• 癌症治療持續具挑戰性, 亟須基於生物基礎的改善及創新。
• 陽明大學有感於癌症研究及生物治療的重要性，積極運用既有之教研能量，逐步研發新治療標的及方法以提升醫療效能。
• 為有效整合基礎、前臨床研究、 與臨床試驗，尤其是相關的生物治療，本校規劃成立「張平倫癌症暨生物治療研究中心」, 並設置講座，邀請中心相關領域之專家學者至陽明教學研究。

研究方向

• 研究發展新穎或改良癌症的生物治療,包含基因及細胞治療。
• 進行臨床前或臨床試驗前的細胞治療的研究,及臨床試驗。
• 研發可能用分子、基因及細胞治療之生物標的。
• 推行相關的產學合作。

捐贈者簡介

張平倫先生

張平倫先生是馬來西亞沙布拉卡查納石油企業集團（SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad）創辦人，經營石油、天然氣及造船等事業，超過40年經歷，他行事果決低調、重視教育，是位傑出的華僑企業家。2012年張平倫先生因惡性血液疾病來台至北榮治療，後不幸病逝，享年66歲。張先生深具悲天憫人的偉大胸懷，身後慷慨捐助新台幣2億元成立「張平倫癌症暨生物治療研究中心」，造福世人。
